“Balance” is an image that came to me years ago, soon after I lost my first solo show in a gallery fire. The expression shows loss, while the water and warm light signify a sense of hope and renewal. I recently came back to this concept after many years when I found myself once again searching for renewal. As artists we are constantly seeking to evolve, renewing the creativity that lives within us. In renewal there is a balance of what is yet to be and what already is.
