In my daily life, I live the relationship between sacred and secular, the family structure, and myself as a woman. I create from curiosity and observation in the encounter between these three, seeking to understand the tension that arises between family and religion. I propose a new perspective on ritual elements within religion, presenting intimate, familiar situations like Shabbat dinners and Jewish holidays.

In my work, I contemplate my place as a woman within the Jewish family structure, examining where holiness intersects with my daily actions. I grew up in a traditional jewish home where Judaism has cast a shadow over me. I absorbed prohibitions, modesty codes and rules aplenty. Through my art, I depict my experience as a secular woman within a family framework influenced by religious preachings - what is "necessary" and what is "forbidden". Today, as a mother, I draw inspiration from my own home and family. I observe my children and capture small moments of 'chaos' that represent the lack of control in the role destined for me as a Jewish woman and a mother in Israel.

My artistic process begins with gathering references from my immediate environment, family photo albums, and surrounding objects. I am constantly seeking human connections and daily rituals. I create using traditional techniques - oil on canvas/wood - depicting images and elements that showcase the dissonance I experience.
