Dusk

Dusk, Drawing
Dusk
This drawing is a self-portrait.
I imagined it as a porthole, a small window that overlooks a part of my life and I cared a lot to work both from photo and mirror to be able to immortalise a certain expressive authenticity. Then I proposed it in a small tondo with the aim of inviting the observer to get as close as possible to the work. I was very fascinated by the idea of being able to give others the opportunity to come into contact with a part of me in this way, which I searched and pull out with ardor. I feel like I am leaving to you a very intimate dialogue, and perhaps some will see themselves in my story, albeit veiled. Therefore, many things remain unsaid, but I offer food for thought, questions that arise not only during the observation of the gaze, but also within the scenario, and many are hidden by the uncertain light of a dusk.
