The hollyhocks in this garden were stunning and I was so excited to paint them! Although the red and pink ones caught my eye first, I wanted to also feature the blue mountains in the distance and the middle ground of trees, so I chose this patch of white blooms. Painted during the Cashiers Plein Air Festival 2024.
