This is an invented landscape "celebrating" my love for Queen Anne's lace and for hiking in the Blue Ridge. A meadow in the mountains is a great opportunity to see flowers and wildlife. After painting many studies of Queen Anne's lace, I especially appreciate the shapes and forms of the blooms in all stages - from bud to seedpod.
