This orchard in the Blue Ridge is one of my favorite painting locations. The apple and peach trees are inspiring in all seasons, but in the spring, one can see the mountains through the blooms. My focus here is on color. Through many happy experiments I've discovered that the vibrance of a color is dependent upon the colors that surround it.
