For a small piece, it took me quite a long time to finish. Its complexity was overwhelming at times so I’d step away, work on another piece, but that hidden light within the depths of the sea kept drawing me back. I worked mostly from memory and my knowledge of the sea, using some of the photographs that I took while swimming, as a memory support, when I’d get lost in that labyrinth.
