Top of Geiger Grade in the Early Summer
I start with a light wash of thinner and complimentary color over the canvas….progress with a cloth and thin paint to rough in the composition. Bring it home.Let it dry. Back to the site and begin using brushes and thin paint. Let that dry Build up the surface gradually…draw and carve with a palatte knife to begin texturing .Work on many paintings at once Use brushes , cloths and palatte knives……let painting rest. Sometimes it takes waiting for the right season to return. The paintings take a lot of time and patience to develop but I work on multiple paintings at once.
