Soft pastels on Pastel Premier. I painted this after a late summer sky turned to the rich blue and purple of an evening twilight sky. As soon I finished my observations and photos, an evening storm loomed on the horizon and I got drenched on the way back home. Totally worth it to see the beautiful colors of the sky over the deepening greens and shadows in the field.
