Hidden Stream at Loch Ness

I love to paint dark mysterious little nooks and crannies in nature, places that are dark until a little light breaks through, revealing some secret. For instance like in this painting which depicts a little stream I saw on a hike in the hills around Loch Ness, it's waters which are dyed dark by the peat, usually too dark to see one inch past the surface. But here the light shining on stream reveals the multicolored rocks below.
