Acrylic on canvas/ "When Life Begins" was inspired after the birth of our second child as his father gazed down at him. It struck me as a magical moment - the gentle sleepy smile, the recently sprouted gray hairs, the newness of life juxtaposed with life's seasoning. The painting is a celebration of parenthood and new beginnings.
