Fly Fishing At Dawn

Fly Fishing At Dawn was inspired by the rivers, marshes, and streams near where I grew up. Spending a lot of time on the river and other aquatic areas, I was captivated by the activity and life along the watershed. The painting captures one key activity - fishing at dawn when life along the water awakens. Palette knife and brush were used to create Fly Fishing At Dawn. Dawn and dusk are magical times of day and also captured in the painting through the colors of the sky and highlights on the water and fisherman.
