Every autumn I spend time in the Eastern High Sierra to paint and refill the creative well. On this particular day, clouds gathered in the afternoon and there was a light snowfall. With the sun breaking through on occasion, I created a small plein air painting to capture the moment. This scene was created from that piece and reference photos.
